Idina Menzel, known to families as the voice of Elsa in Disney’s animated film Frozen and beloved for her iconic Broadway roles as Elphaba in Wicked and Maureen in Rent, for which she reprised the role for the big screen, has built a career around sharing her big voice—and portraying strong female characters who encourage viewers to do the same. A renowned actress, singer-songwriter, and philanthropist, Idina adds picture book author to her impressive list of accomplishments with Loud Mouse and Proud Mouse, both co-authored with her sister Cara Mentzel, an elementary educator and reading specialist. Loud Mouse and Proud Mouse build on Idina’s message of empowerment and finding our voices.
