George J. Aulisio
George J. Aulisio is the research and scholarly services coordinator at The University of Scranton’s Weinberg Memorial Library. He has attained the rank of professor and currently serves as department chair. He has been interested in philosophy since before he even knew he was reading philosophy. He earned a bachelor of arts in philosophy from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, a master of science in library and information science from Drexel University, and a master of liberal arts in philosophy and metaphysics from the University of Pennsylvania. He is currently finishing his dissertation on the philosophy of mind to earn his doctor of philosophy degree from Temple University. He teaches philosophy regularly at the University of Scranton. He has published in both library and philosophy scholarly journals. His library scholarship focuses on copyright, sustainability, and scholarly communications. He currently serves as editor of the Library Materials and Pricing Index. In philosophy, he has published articles on Descartes’ epistemology and science and on Neo-Confucian ethics.
