The Dream Catcher Poster

This heartwarming new poster by Marcelo Verdad honors The Dream Catcher, winner of the 2025 Pura Belpré Award for Illustration. The Dream Catcher, published simultaneously in English and Spanish as El atrapasueños, is an uplifting story about a boy who stays true to his biggest dream while finding the magic in every moment.
Mexican author-illustrator Marcelo Verdad is passionate about picture books. A graduate of ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena, his work incorporates easily recognizable elements—paper textures, cutouts, crayons, and bright colors—to create an accessible visual language for children.
