Chooch Helped Poster
Foster a love of reading in young children, with help from little Chooch. This charming new poster created by Rebecca Lee Kunz celebrates Chooch Helped, recipient of the 2025 Caldecott Medal. Chooch Helped, written by Andrea L. Rogers and illustrated by Rebecca Lee Kunz, tells the tale of an older sibling learning patience and acceptance with a new child set amongst a Cherokee family and their cultural traditions.
Rebecca Lee Kunz is a citizen of the Cherokee Nation. Her work draws upon Cherokee mythology and archetypal symbolism. She earned a BFA in painting from the College of Santa Fe and is the owner of Tree of Life Studio in Santa Fe. Chooch Helped is her debut picture book.
Special thanks to Rebecca Lee Kunz for original art, Andrea L. Rogers, and Levine Querido.
